Rodney Middleton
- At Rea, Rodney bridges the gap between business problems and technology solutions and provides scaling for future IT business needs.
Topics or areas of expertise that Rodney can talk about (even in his sleep):
EUC (end-user computing) desktop virtualization
IT migration strategies (on-premise and cloud)
Disaster recovery/site resiliency
AD/group policy design and hardening
How we know he knows what he's doing:
Rodney earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Missouri State University.
Prior to joining Rea, Rodney worked for Jack Henry and Associates as a Senior Solutions Architect and O’Reilly Auto as a Senior Systems Engineer.
How he's helped clients meet their business needs:
Rodney worked with a team to develop an IaaS (infrastructure as a service) solution which allowed customers to offload their IT infrastructure needs.
He also had a client with 25 locations suffering poor end-user/network performance. Rodney changed the IT systems from a distributed to centralized/EUC design which led to improved performance and user experience.
When he’s not in the office, you can find him:
Playing with his eight grandchildren
Riding his HD Road King
Snowboarding in The Rockies
Golf and Tennis
